Q: How do I close the blade once it’s locked?
A: Located in the blade slot within the handle, there is a small metal tab. When the blade is open, the tab slides over to prevent the blade from closing. To close the blade, push the tab over to release the blade from its locked position. Carefully fold the blade back into the slot in the handle to close.
Q: How do I turn on the light? How do you change the light battery?
A: To turn on the flashlight, pull to remove the light from its holding place. It is held in by a magnet. Turn and tighten until the light turns on. To change the battery, turn the light the opposite direction to loosen. Be careful as the battery is loose and will easily autumn out. Remove the battery and replace with a new one. Screw the light back into place and return to its holding place.
Q: Where is the alloy fire starter and how do I use it?
A: The alloy fire starter is located in the bottom of the handle opposite the light. Pull the black tab to remove it from its holding place. It is held in by a magnet. Once removed, use your knife blade to strike against the fire starter rod to create a spark. Please note that the fire starter will wear down over time and has a limited number of uses.
